Through December and January last year, we were taking donations of toiletries in all 30 of our branches, in order to help the local homeless and those in need. As part of the initiative alongside Bigmoose – a not-for-profit organisation which aims to inspire people to live better lives – the donations were distributed to those living on the streets and to community initiatives across South Wales. Through the combined efforts of Peter Alan, David Lloyd club and the University Hospital of Wales over 10,000 toiletry items were collected.
Following on from this success, this winter we are doing it again!!! Please help us by donating whatever you can. Collection points are in each of our branches across South Wales.
Examples of the type of items we are collecting are:
• Shampoo
• Shower gel
• Toothbrushes
• Toothpaste
• Sanitary products
• Deodorant
• New socks and underwear
• Soap
• Hand sanitiser
• Razors
• Wet wipes
• Packs of tissues
• Lip salve
