Sales Manager – Morriston

Outline of the position

The Sales Manager will manage and lead all sales channels for Peter Alan, including Estate Agency, Financial Services and Peter Alan Home Conveyancing. Reporting directly to the Area Director, the role will involve developing the corporate plan objectives for all the sales areas of the business and ensuring that these are achieved, including year on year increase in market share for Estate Agency and Financial Services. The Sales Manager will be responsible for coaching, training and developing branch members to improve and drive performance - achieving results through people by maximising the potential of house sales, financial services and other income targets.

Requirements for the position

You will ideally be qualified to Technical Award level or be working towards Dip CPEA and have an excellent track record in sales and lead generation. You will have a positive attitude towards change and the ability to work unsupervised to get the job done.  Knowledge of all Acts relating to the Housing Industry and Ombudsman Code of Practice would be beneficial. You will need to be an open-minded individual who strives for continuous improvement. Your proven track record of successful performance will help you to implement a success culture, ensuring that Peter Alan’s strong brand existence in the South Wales property market is maintained.

Sales Negotiator – Llanishen Branch (Maternity Cover)

Outline of the position

You will be responsible for generating viewings, valuations, financial services and Peter Alan Legal referrals.

Your main duties will include liaising face-to-face or over the telephone on the purchase or sale of a property, you will match clients' needs to properties, accompany viewings and negotiate offers between client and vendor. You will also qualify clients such as first-time buyers, cash purchasers, and those with a property to sell and make the appropriate appointments. 

Requirements for the position

This is a varied role and therefore a flexible and confident approach is desired. The successful candidate will have good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels, active listening skills are essential to overcome objections and close a sale. It is crucial that you are able to organise and manage your time efficiently and effectively to ensure that you maximise your potential within the role

Portfolio Administrator (Newport Lettings Support Centre)

Outline of the position

To oversee and manage issues of maintenance, bond deposits and gas certificates in the portfolio. You will need to negotiate with landlords, tenants and contractors regarding works required to properties and the return of tenants bond deposits at the end of the tenancy. You will also be responsible for the renewal of gas safety certificates, ensuring that the certificate is renewed in the correct timeframe and the certificate is accurate and valid.
 
This is a customer service role and you will be required to deal with initial complaints with the aim of resolving the situation effectively and efficiently. 

Requirements for the position

  • Must be highly organised and able to manage their own time effectively.

  • Must have excellent customer service skills.

  • Is accurate and demonstrates good attention to detail.

  • Must have excellent communication skills.

  • Is able to work under pressure in a positive way during busy periods.
