Lettings Negotiator – Cardiff, CF24 3RS

Outline of the position

To generate viewings and valuations of residential property (Lettings) in accordance with requirements of associated regulations and requirements. Liaise face-to-face or via telephone regarding the letting of properties. Qualify clients and manage appointments and administration to ensure customer requirements met regarding quality and timescales. Match client needs with stock, accompany viewings and negotiate with applicants and landlords. Comply with Legislation, auditing and monitoring requirements relevant in the lettings industry and to maximise income generation and ensure business targets met by selling all of the services and benefits of using Peter Alan Ltd.

Requirements for the position

Must have or be working towards Lettings Technical Award to fulfil role (training provided for new entrant candidates where appropriate) Demonstrate active listening skills, able to overcome objections and have the ability to communicate at all levels.
Ability to work using their own initiative and work as part of the team.
Must be capable of progressing towards achieving further qualification as required by business/legislation and any industry changes.
Must be competent with office technology.

Sales Valuer - Merthyr Tydfil, CF47 8DN

Outline of the Position: 

The Valuer will be responsible for carrying out valuations of properties for sale in accordance with associated regulations and requirements. A large part of the role will involve the administration of contracts and ensuring they are completed and signed by all relevant parties in line with company and industry policies and practices, and to manage appointments to ensure customer requirements are met and quality turnaround achieved. The role will involve matching out suitable applicants who meet the criteria of the vendor and carrying out viewings to secure a sale. The valuer will work with management to ensure fee levels and cross sales are achieved through maximizing income generation and ensuring business targets are met.

Requirements for the position

You will have good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels, actively listening to overcome objections. It is essential that you are able to organise and manage your time efficiently and effectively. Experience within sales is essential and successful candidates will either have or be working towards the Sales Technical Award and be willing to undertake further training and qualifications in line with business needs. A clean driving licence is essential.
