Ideally qualified to Technical Award Level to fulfil this role, with a proven track record in achieving set targets on instructions lets agreed and securing tenancies. Rent Smart Wales Certified, knowledge of the housing act and ARLA code of practice as well as a working knowledge of the Property Ombudsman Code of Practice. A positive attitude to change is essential and the ability to work unsupervised to get the job done. Line management or coaching experience would be beneficial to undertake this role.

Sales Manager – Gorseinon, Swansea

Outline of the position

The Peter Alan Ltd Sales Manager will manage and lead all sales channels for Peter Alan, including Estate Agency, Financial Services and PA Legal. Reporting directly to the Areal Director, the role will involve developing the corporate plan objectives for all the sales areas of the business and ensuring that these are achieved, including year on year increase in market share for Estate Agency and Financial Services. The Sales Manager will be responsible for coaching, training and developing branch members to improve and drive performance - achieving results through people by maximising the potential of house sales, financial services and other income targets.
This role would suit a current  Manager or a Sales Valuer looking to progress in their career

Requirements for the position

You will ideally be qualified to Technical Award level or be working towards Dip CPEA and have an excellent track record in sales and lead generation. You will have a positive attitude towards change and the ability to work unsupervised to get the job done. Previous sales and line management experience is essential, and a knowledge of all Acts relating to the Housing Industry and Ombudsman Code of Practice would also be beneficial. You will need to be an open minded individual who strives for continuous improvement. Your proven track record of successful performance will help you to implement a success culture, ensuring that Peter Alan’s strong brand existence in the South Wales property market is maintained.

Letting Valuer – Cardiff

Outline of the position

The Valuer will be responsible for carrying out valuations of properties for  Let in accordance with associated regulations and requirements. A large part of the role will involve the administration of contracts and ensuring they are completed and signed by all relevant parties in line with company and industry policies and practices, and to manage appointments to ensure customer requirements are met and quality turnaround achieved. The role will involve matching out suitable applicants who meet the criteria of the Landlord and carrying out viewings to secure a let. The valuer will work with management to ensure fee levels and cross sales are achieved through maximizing income generation and ensuring business targets are met.

Requirements for the position

You will have good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels, actively listening to overcome objections. It is essential that you are able to organise and manage your time efficiently and effectively. Experience within lettings is essential and successful candidates will either have or be working towards the Lettings Technical Award and be willing to undertake further training and qualifications in line with business needs. A clean driving licence is essential.
