Liaise face-to-face or via telephone regarding the letting of properties. Requirements for the position

  • Must have or be working towards Lettings Technical Award to fulfil role (training provided for new entrant candidates where appropriate) Demonstrate active listening skills, able to overcome objections and have the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Ability to work using their own initiative and work as part of the team.
  • Must be capable of progressing towards achieving further qualification as required by business/legislation and any industry changes.
  • Must be competent with office technology.

Maintenance Co-ordinator – Cardiff (Full Time)

Outline of the position

Role Purpose – To oversee and manage the maintenance, deposit return and gas certificate renewal process in the Lettings Support Centre, with a primary focus on one of those key areas. You will negotiate with landlords, tenants and contractors regarding works required to properties, manage negotiations regarding the return of tenants deposits at the end of the tenancy and be responsible for the renewal of gas safety certificates whilst ensuring that the certificate is renewed in the correct timeframe and is accurate and valid.

This is a customer service role and you will be required to deal with initial complaints with the aim of resolving the situation effectively and efficiently.

  • Must be highly organised and able to manage their own time effectively.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills.
  • Is accurate and demonstrates good attention to detail.
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
  • Is able to work under pressure in a positive way during busy periods.

Sales Valuer - Swansea

Outline of the position

The Valuer will be responsible for carrying out valuations of properties for sale in accordance with associated regulations and requirements. A large part of the role will involve the administration of contracts and ensuring they are completed and signed by all relevant parties in line with company and industry policies and practices, and to manage appointments to ensure customer requirements are met and quality turnaround achieved. The role will involve matching out suitable applicants who meet the criteria of the vendor and carrying out viewings to secure a sale. The valuer will work with management to ensure fee levels and cross sales are achieved through maximizing income generation and ensuring business targets are met.

Requirements for the position

You will have good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels, actively listening to overcome objections. It is essential that you are able to organise and manage your time efficiently and effectively. Experience within sales is essential and successful candidates will either have or be working towards the Sales Technical Award and be willing to undertake further training and qualifications in line with business needs. A clean driving licence is essential.

What we're looking for

The Sales Manager will manage and lead all sales channels for Peter Alan, including Estate Agency, Financial Services and Legal referrals. Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Manager, the role will involve developing the corporate plan objectives for all the sales areas of the business and ensuring that these are achieved, including year on year increase in market share for Estate Agency and Financial Services. The Sales Manager will be responsible for coaching, training and developing branch members to improve and drive performance - achieving results through people by maximising the potential of house sales, financial services and other income targets.
