About Maesteg

Maesteg is an old mining town located at the North of the Llynfi Valley, around 9 miles North of Bridgend town centre.

There are three train stations in Maesteg which have lines that run across Wales from Wrexham to Cheltenham, Bridgend and Swansea.  The bus station in Maesteg can be found next to the Town Hall.

There are several Primary schools in the Maesteg area and two Comprehensive schools, one of which is Welsh-medium.
