About our Talbot Green branch
Welcome to Peter Alan Talbot Green
Our Talbot Green office is located in the heart of the village and is one of the longest standing estate agents in the area, being open since 1969! Currently a team of 9 members of staff, we are able to offer services in sales, lettings, mortgages, auctions and conveyancing. We really are able to offer a one stop shop! And because our team are all local, we really have a keen interest in ensuring we are able to promote all the fantastic events, amenities and attractions that our community and area has to offer, which is why we love living here!
The areas we cover include: Tonteg, Church Village, Llantwit Fardre, Beddau, Efail Isaf, Llantrisant, Talbot Green, Miskin, Pontyclun, Brynsadler, Talygarn, Llanharry, Llanharan, Tonyrefail and Gilfach Goch. In each of these areas we will aim to find a buyer or a tenant their dream home or Investment property, using our Homefinder Service. Our New Homes department also enables us to work closely with an array of local and national developers too, if a brand new home takes your fancy.
We are open 6 days a week, and all day on a Saturday (9-5pm) so please call in for chat, where one of us will always be happy to help. And as we cover the best of both worlds, if you’re not available in person, you can use our online chat on our website which can also be used to book any viewings and valuations.
About our area
The village of Talbot Green has benefited from some substantial development over the last decade, which in turn has brought a plethora of new amenities to the area. These include a retail park, some well known high street chain restaurants, as well as some wonderful local eateries, boutique hotels, and coffee shops. Pontyclun offers a bustling high street which offer some local pubs, restaurants, shops and a train station, from here it’s only a 14 minute direct ride to Cardiff Central. The highly regarded Y Pant Comprehensive School is also the catchment school for this area.
Talbot Green is also bordered with the historic town of Old Llantrisant. Here you will discover some beautiful ancient buildings to include Llantrisant Castle and Church, all surrounded by a huge variety of character properties. If you like the outdoors, you can enjoy a stomp up the Billy Wint to take in the breath taking panoramic views. Other local activities include The Royal Mint Experience or a mooch around the boutique shops in the Old town. The Royal Glamorgan Hospital also has an A&E department.
Church Village is also commonly used to refer to the whole CF38 postcode area of Pontypridd, comprising the adjoining principal settlements of Beddau, Efail Isaf, Llantwit Fardre, Tonteg, and Upper Church Village. It is a rapidly growing urban area and is much sought after due to it’s fantastic commuter links to the M4 (Jct 34) and A470 using the A473 (Church Village Bypass), New Homes and also the University of Wales. Church Village benefits from a welsh super school too: Gartholwg Community Campus, which houses both primary and comprehensive schools on the same site. There are also a number of lovely family friendly local pubs, all within walking distance, where you can enjoy some traditional pub grub, and socialize with the locals.
Both Tonyrefail and Gilfach Goch have also benefited from development over recent years, seeing many new homes developments being built as well as another super school, being Tonyrefail Comprehensive. The area is also afforded with good commuter links back to Talbot Green, and then in turn to the M4 (Jct 34)
