COVID19 Business Update

We continue to monitor the situation regarding COVID-19 and take guidance from the UK Government and advice from the health authorities.

Our guiding principle in this unique situation has always been to do what is right – right for our colleagues, right for our customers and right for society.

We have transitioned our business to remote working, temporarily closing our branches and support offices in accordance with government guidelines. We are operating flexibly and continue to engage with business partners and customers via email, telephone and online solutions.

We have the digital technology and equipment in place to facilitate our service provision within a secure IT environment, and have redirected phone lines to ensure staff can service phone enquiries regardless of where they are physically located. We remain committed to supporting and minimising impact to our colleagues, customers and clients, and delivering continuity of service.

To protect our business, we are making full use of the Government’s recently announced Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (CJRS) with a large portion of our team placed on temporary furlough. We are committed to helping our people and have agreed to go above and beyond the Government minimum and pay all colleagues 100% of their basic salary and commission throughout April and May. We are confident that this is the best way forward to safeguard all jobs for the long term, ensure the wellbeing of our team, protect our business and resume normality as soon as we can.

We continue to closely monitor developments to ensure we take comprehensive and appropriate actions whilst ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of all our people, and to minimise the potential impact on our operations.
