Wales’ largest estate agent, Peter Alan, part of Connells Group, today announces that it has acquired Roberts & Co Property Management Limited as part of its continued strategy to extend its regional rental network and increase market share.
Roberts & Co’s lettings business, based in Newport, was established 10 years ago and manages over 800 properties. The strategic sale of its lettings division will allow the company to re-invest and expand its sales & mortgage services businesses and remain a leading agent in the region.
This acquisition will see Roberts’ team of 17 lettings staff retained and, over the coming weeks, the business will begin to trade under the Peter Alan brand name. It adds a significant number of properties to Peter Alan’s portfolio, which will continue to be managed by the existing team in central Newport with support from the local Peter Alan branches.
