Wales may once again be in lockdown, but this doesn’t mean you can’t still enjoy some Halloween fun.  We’ve put together this list to help you have a spooktacular time at home.

Pumpkins

Nothing says happy Halloween like a pumpkin and carving is a must-do activity!

So scoop out the insides, get creative with your design, pop a tea light inside and put it on display for all of your neighbours to enjoy.  If carving's not your thing, then why not get out the paint and other craft materials and make a cute, scary or stylish pumpkin!

Scary films

Set up a home cinema, lower the lights and get ready for a scary movie marathon.

Looking for something to watch with the family, then our favourites are Casper, The Addams Family and Hocus Pocus. Over 18? Then go for creepy classics like The Shining, Nightmare on Elm Street and The Exorcist.

Frightening snacks

It’s time to eat, drink and be scary so look up some recipes that are equally delicious and disgusting! From ghostly cupcakes, to pumpkin pie and Halloween cocktails there are options for everyone to enjoy.

Have a spooky music and dance Halloween playlist

Compile a playlist of spooky tunes and create your own eerie dance routines.

Host a virtual party

We’re all well used to virtual parties by now, so why not celebrate Halloween online together.  Send out spooky invites, hold a costume contest and host a Halloween themed quiz.

Haunted house scavenger hunt

Perfect for keeping the kids entertained you can first create your haunted house by making your own creepy decorations together, and then organise a scavenger hunt to send them around the house looking for treats!
