In 2012, it was crowned the best house in England and Wales.  The Daily Telegraph went on to describe it as one of the “Top 10 property hotspots in Britain”, and the BBC Changing Rooms star Oliver Heath called it a “truly spectacular development”. The Yahoo! review is even more remarkable because The Sessile – on sale for £425,000 – is almost £8million cheaper than some of the other luxury properties on the list. These include a £8.3million home in Majorca, Spain, a £5.3million townhouse in California, USA, and a £6.5million former water tower in Kennington, London. The nearest in price is a new-build home in Kent with a guide price of £1.1million.
