With September well underway, we are urging homeowners to start marketing their homes now if they want to be moved by Christmas.
With the usual rush of activity at the start of autumn, as prospective buyers look to secure a sale and move before Christmas, we are advising homeowners to get in touch soon as this could be the perfect time to sell your property.
“As buyer confidence restores itself following the Brexit result, we’re now gearing ourselves up for autumn, which is traditionally one of our busiest times of the year” says Andrew Barry, Managing Director at Peter Alan. “We usually find that, with children back at school and the summer holidays over, buyers return to the market and start seriously looking to purchase before Christmas.”
“We would urge anyone thinking of moving to get in touch soon,” continues Andrew. “We have high demand for homes, but we still need more houses to sell to would-be buyers interested in moving this year. The opportunities are certainly there and with the right agent there is no reason why vendors should not achieve a quick sale at a good price.”
